Remember be realistic!
Our Camper Vans can only drive 50-55 mph. We also have a mileage allowance of 75 miles per day, any extra mileage on your trip will be charged at 35p per mile. The fuel consumption is approx £70-£90 per 500 miles. They have no power steering and the brakes are nowhere near as good as a modern vehicle.
Please plan trips that make allowances for the extra time, costs and distances involved. For example travelling to Cornwall on a 3 day hire is not adviseable. It's more fun to take short trips each day, (50-75 miles) than to drive for hours and hours on a motorway, particularly if you have never driven a Camper Van before.
